EFT and Money

Money!  We all want a certain amount of it, and we often worry that amount is not enough.  I don't think I've ever met someone who worried that she or he was making too much money!  I suppose that person might be out there.

Well, whatever your amount is, you can tap away negative feelings around money by simple saying,

"It feels good to make money!"  and "It feels good to be financially free!"

I think the first sentence might have more "energy disruptions" than the second phrase so both are useful!

You might hear responses like, "sometimes" or "not always".  Listen to these responses and explore what they mean to you!

Just keep tapping rounds until it feels really good to make money and feel financially free!

Then, decide how much money you want to make, pick a specific number (say, 1 million dollars) tap the points and say, "It feels good to make a million dollars!"

I suppose you could use these phrases for anything you want to feel good about...being a non-smoker, being a barista, being you!

Tapping as the Dumper!

Here is an effective technique to help you stop obsessing over someone who rejected you.

Tap the various points on the body as the other person and experience how this person feels about you!  To find the tapping points, go to www.eftseattle.com.

I'm going to pretend that I am obsessing over someone named "Carmella".  We met at a coffee shop, I borrowed a pen and she likes to collect pictures of iguanas.  Even though we've been broken up for over a decade, I still get those painful pangs of fear, heartache and desire whenever I go to the mall or the record store.

So I tap a round of EFT and say:

Even though Michael was such a sweet guy, I love and accept myself.

Even though I really blew it when I broke up with him and now my life is meaningless and I am nothing, I love and accept myself.

(record scratch) Waaaait a second.  Let's try that again...

Even though I wish Michael would stop calling me because he's really only thinking about himself, I love and accept myself.

Even though he's not fooling anyone driving around my block wearing that stupid wig and moustache, I love and accept myself.

Even though I don't really even think about Michael anymore I love and accept myself.

Even though I look back at that time with fondness but a sack of gold couldn't get me to go back, I love and accept myself.

Even though Michael was just a boy and I needed a man, I love and accept myself!

And so on.  As you can tell, I'm having a lot of fun with this and that is the point.  Carmella, I hope you get a life.  Anyway, it really helps to get into the mind and body of the other person.  And now that I think of it, why not say you were the best thing for them?  Validate yourself as much as you want, it's your life!

Even though Michael was my God and I am naught but a mere peasant, I love and accept myself.

Even though Michael was the hottest man in the Universe and I just couldn't accept his amazingness, I love and accept myself.

That's more like it!

Seeing eye to eye!

Try this!

Assume that every bad feeling you have comes from a memory and assume that someone you know is in that memory.  Someone "caused" you to feel this way way back when.  Now go through your mind and readjust the size of everyone so that you see "eye to eye".

Here is a list of possible candidates:  political candidates, parents, scout leaders, Dr. Laura, siblings, kids, spouses, domestic partners, priests, ex-spouses, ex-political candidates, ex-domestic partners (foreign partners), ex-priests, Galileo (this one's personal, trust me), The Illuminati, All Free Masons, your blog audience, the NSA, strangers, friends, Peter Gabriel, and you.

Imagine shrinking down those that need shrunking and growing them up them's that you're keeping small.  Experience the new feelings associated with this.  I hope you get that you are changing your projected idea of "them" right?  You will feel better if this is done well and proper-like*.

I noticed that I did this automatically with people I liked.  I have a couple of close friends who seem like they're fivefoottenandthreequarters (like me) when they're really 6 four/five abouts.  And a woman I know who is under five feet seems so much taller.   I forgot their real heights and am surprised when I step back and look at them.

So beyond just feeling better, who can this technique be useful for you?  I'll let you figure that out.  I have a bunch of ideas already!

*I will not write, "Get 'er done!"

Honor the Feeling, Resolve the Memory!

Here is a simple way to feel better quickly, with lasting results.  And by lasting, I mean forever type change.

When you feel a stressful feeling in your body ask yourself, "Can I resolve the memory behind this?"

You may not even know what the memory is, but your unconscious is quite clear because it is generating a response based on what's going on in the moment.

Every feeling is based on a memory.  If a stranger in a grocery store cuts in front of you and you get so pissed that you'd like to shove their head through a watermelon, this is based on previous associated experiences in your mind.  Probably going back to when you lived on a watermelon farm.

Leave the feeling be, so many people try to fight the feeling versus resolving the memory.  Stop it! You don't be like that!  You resolve memory now! Or else it's back to the watermelon farm with you!

Or to be more caring and suggestive: (breezy voice) Find yourself easily and quickly resolving the memory associated with any and all less than useful feelings by allowing your deeply creative unconscious mind to...

You'll notice by now that you are feeling a lot better!  Build a perpetual motion machine your mind so that this process not only continues to run on its own it also defies the law of entropy.  The longer it runs, the faster it goes and the more youthful it looks.  A sort of Dorian Grey quality I guess? 

Defying the basic laws of nature is so cool, it's like when I was a kid and we'd go out in the backyard and throw a baseball in the air.  The further up it went the faster it flew away from us.  We had a raw and awesome talent I suppose. But we each only got one throw and it felt like we losing a friend sometimes.  What can I say?  It was the 70's, a very strange time indeed!

To find the limit of relaxation.  I believe there is no limit to the depth of trance or relaxation we can experience.  I love to meet people who are willing to challenge that belief.  I'm still looking, will you?

Say, "thank you" to your subconscious!

If you want to feel better very quickly, sit for a moment, breathe, and say, "thank you" to your subconscious mind!

Just so you know, I call the place in the mind beyond the conscious awareness the subconscious and the unconscious without worry. You can back and forth in my opinion!

So what do you do?

First, make sure to take time for yourself. This is the most important!

Take a breath, and say, "thank you subconscious!" and really be sincere about it. Feel that sincerity. Your unconscious will obviously know if you are being insincere right? Adjust until you feel in your heart of hearts that this is true and that you are honestly grateful!

And do it as you keep feeling better and it becomes more and more profound in your life and notice how your mind becomes much more sharp, your intuition becomes more apparent and your memory more powerful!

Instantaneous Images!

The mind can give you images almost instantly. Let's work with an image in your mind of a pineapple.

First, I want you to see a folding chair, a grey folding chair, in the middle of a comfortable room.

Now, I want you to see a pineapple on the chair. One second it's there, the next, it isn't. Now put it under the chair and have it shift around. Add a popping sound as it materializes in different places!

Clear your mind. See the chair in the empty room and hear the sound of a harp playing as the pineapple slowly materializes on the chair. Do you see it materializing on the chair? Or is it on the edge of the chair? Can you see it floating in the air now?

Move in close on the pineapple like you have a telescopic lens in your mind. Get so close you can see the different shades of color and the deep textures of the pineapple.

Now move your focus way out so that the pineapple is at least a mile off in the distance. See an arrow come from off screen and hit the pineapple.

Okay, you're getting the point, you understand that the mind is flexible, very flexible. If I were to ask you to see a ham sculpted to look like a pineapple you could. How about a ham shaped like a pirate ship?

What about a zombie made entirely out of ham, all pink and splotchy?

This ability is so commonplace, we have come to accept it as normal. And yet, it really is quite amazing!

Hear, "She loves you yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" Easy right? You didn't have to wait 3 days for it to arrive, it just popped in.

Take a deep breath and feel how quickly your body adjusts, even after one deep and cleansing breath, your body feels different and probably better!

Okay, let's have some fun, let's float the pineapple out of the chair and chase someone with it. Who do you pick? Chase him or her down long hallways and flights of stairs. What happens next?

Good, now let everything turn to white!

So what's the point? Well, think about something in your mind that you'd like to change and apply this kind of flexibility to your problem. Turn it into a fun challenge! Move things around, add pineapples, racoons, sleddogs, whatever. Get creative and see what happens!

And see how it can happen instantly.
